What is your name? Jenna Diefenbacher Kelsey Green
What is your major? Special Education/Early Education with a concentration Deaf Education Mass Communications
Why did you decide to go to Bloomsburg? Because the university has a good education program and my mom went to college here. I got denied from my top choice.
What dormitory do you live in? Columbia. Elwell.
Are you doubled or tripled? Doubled Tripled
Did you want to be doubled or tripled? Doubled Tripled, because it is more fun and I get along with my rooms.
How much space do you have in your dorm? I have a decent amount of room. A lot. I don’t feel like I am cramped in here.
What would you say are the advantages? You both get your own space that you can keep to yourself. You get to make more friends.
What are the disadvantages? You only make a connection with one person instead of two. I don’t think there are any.
How well do you get along with your roommate? Very well we are like best friends. Really well.
Is it easier to get along with one roommate, or would it be easier with two? One, because its less people to have an issue with. Two. It is easier to talk and make conversation.
I find it interesting that even though both girls live in different dorm situations they both prefer it. I think it all depends on who your roommates are. Both girls preferred their dorm situation, because they liked their roommates. If Jenna didn’t like her one roommate she might want to have another to make living with her unlikable roommate easier. If Kelsey didn’t like one of her roommates she might want to be de-tripled to get away from her unlikable roommate. I think what this suggests about college life is that, whether you like it or not, it depends on the people you surround yourself with.
